Dr. Dargah-Zada earned her medical degree from Azerbaijan Medical University and was a medical intern at an affiliated hospital there. She's also worked as a visiting doctor at Ulm University clinic in Ulm, Germany. She has also served as a clinical trial investigator at Ulm University. She later relocated to New York City, where she completed a second internship at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital.
She completed her Neurology residency in Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and she did the Fellowship in MS/Neuroimmunology at National Institute of Health.
